In November 2021, I had the genuine pleasure of working with Mike Miller, the Talbert Outdoor Living Specialist. Mike was instrumental in designing the deck of my dreams! He provided on-site design assistance at my home and listened intently to my ideas and answered all of my questions. It was so hard for me to explain exactly what I wanted, but Mike was able to take my vague ideas and transform them into a scaled deck plan that was even better than what I had envisioned! Then, he patiently made follow up modifications and suggestions for improvement that perfected the plan. I was so impressed with Mike and his decking expertise He provided me with three different overlay, scaled drawings — one showing my deck with accessories such as patio furniture, one showing how the decking boards could be laid to add visual interest, and the final drawing showing the actual deck framing. Furthermore, he assisted with material selections of Timber Tech products and pricing and made referrals for several building sub-contractors. I am convinced that Mike’s knowledge and experience provided the foundation I needed to get the best quality deck for my house. I am very grateful for his willingness to share his expertise and would highly recommend Mike to anyone considering adding a deck to their home.

Mike was incredibly helpful when I came to him with a loose idea for a screened porch addition for my house. He was able to take my idea and develop a full and complete supply list and cost estimate. That's not where it ended. He then took time to discuss each and every item on the list. He explained the function and purpose of each item, and he also sent me pictures and drawings to further illustrate the information. Although I am a novice in this area, Mike treated me patiently and respectfully, and I feel like I was able to learn a lot.
